Elsa obtained a Licentiate Degree in Law from Coimbra University in Portugal in 2001 and a post-graduate Diploma in Corporate and Business Law from the same University.
Elsa expanded her academic qualifications and legal knowledge through studies while remaining fully engaged at work. She holds certifications in International Environmental Law and Combatting Corruption in Extractive Industries, Contract Law, Project Management, European Business Law. Recently, Elsa obtained her LLM (Master of Laws) in Oil, Gas and Renewable Energy Law with Distinction with the Robert Gordon University (Law School) in Aberdeen, Scotland, United Kingdom and won the Best Student Award for 2022/2023.
