Singapore Office
The practice of Wong Alliance LLP (the “Firm”) has its origins in Wendy Wong & Partners (“WWP”) which was established in 1986 by Mrs Wendy Wong. As part of a merger in 2004, WWP, as a unit, operated the Raffles Place Office of Sim & Wong LLC for 5 years. The WWP unit ceased to be part of Sim & Wong LLC and commenced practice under Wong Alliance LLP with effect from 1 August 2009.
The core of the Firm comprises the lawyers and staff which were part of the WWP history. The Firm continues to provide legal services in the core areas of banking and finance, corporate and commercial, real estate and dispute resolution. The Firm also renewed its alliance with Jakarta law firm, Nurjadin Sumono Mulyadi Pratanto, which was formed in 2004.
In 2009, the Firm established Wong Alliance Law Office (TL) LDA in Dili, Timor-Leste, as part of its expansion plans.
In 2011, the Firm and Da Cheng Law Offices, the largest law firm in the PRC, jointly applied for the establishment of a joint law venture in Singapore.
